The content here — festival dates, tithi and nakshatra windows, muhurat timings, sunrise and sunset — is provided for general information. It is computed from astronomical models as described on the methodology page.
No warranty of ritual correctness
Dates and timings are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that any date or muhurat shown here is correct for your tradition, your region, or your family's practice. Panchang conventions differ, and our resolver has documented edge cases. For any religious decision, consult your local priest or a panchang authority you trust. We are not liable for choices made in reliance on this site.
The Chakra apps are separate
The Chakra mobile apps have their own terms of use and, where applicable, subscription terms. Those are shown in the App Store and Google Play listings and within the app, and they govern your use of the app regardless of anything on this website.

The site's text, design, and original explanatory content are the property of Chakra and may not be republished wholesale without permission. Festival names and calendar concepts are part of a shared cultural tradition and are not claimed as anyone's property.
